Wesak Festival is one of the most important spiritual days of the year! There is a specific meditation and ceremony that is practiced all over the world on this night. Many thousands of lightworkers gather to celebrate this - some in the Wesak Valley in Tibet, some at Mt. Shasta at the Dr. Joshua David Stone Wesak fest. and many at other places all over the world.

Wesak is held on the full moon of Taurus. This year, 2002, it is April 26th at exactly 11:01 pm EST. The purpose of a Wesak Ceremony is to connect with the energies of the light and to empower your light-body to activate and strengthen its ascension process for yourself and the world. This is the day the Buddha (in spirit) comes down to Earth plane to initiate the new teachers of spirit. My understanding is that by participating in this ceremony you are stating your intention to be and remain a lightworker. It is often like getting a Reiki attunement from Buddha and/or the Ascended Masters directly. Cool! Even without any ceremony WESAK is still a good day to meditate to help the ascension energies. Wesak Valley is right beside the etheric interdimensional location of Shamballa.

How To Do a WESAK Ceremony

(I'm giving you the details, but don't worry. Do what you can and what feels right. Please take at leat 10 minutes to focus on healing and light sometime today if you can.)

PREPARATION

Choose an area - (outside if possible) where you will be undisturbed. Get together supplies of a blanket, crystals (6 or 8) or other space/energy markers, bowl of water big enough to hold crystal, copies of your symbols if you don't have them memorized, water to drink, bugspray and flashlight if outside after dark. Don't worry if you don't know symbols or have crystals or can't get water to the location. Do what you can and visualize the rest.
Set intentions for protection that only energies of the light may enter. If you know the Merkaba, activate this. If not, imagine a sphere of energy around you and all in the ceremony with you - Fill it with light and set it to repel (and transform) any negative energies and filter in all energies of the light.
Set intention for a WESAK ceremony and connection to the Buddha energies and energies of the Light. Call forth your guides and guides of those present. Call forth Ascended Masters and Angels, the Mahatma and the Christ Light.
SYMBOLS and EMPOWERMENT
Draw or visualize a large circle on the ground and place large crystals (or pyramids) in the North, South, West and East positions. If you don't have any crystals, just imagine them there - use something natural for a marker like rocks or feathers or sticks. (I feel this year we could use 6 points as in the Merkaba and/or Star of David shape.)
Place a large upright crystal in the center of the circle in a plate or bowl of water. You could also use visualization to make this so. You don't have to have the water, but use a crystal if you have one or mark it with something. Quartz is probably best, but other rock would work, ie. amethyst (?).
Draw out all the symbols you know on the ground with a stick within the circle. You can also use printed versions of them or just INTEND for them to be there. *** see NOTE at bottom about what to do if you don't know any reiki symbols or if you would like to add the energy balls anyhow.
Use your palm Chakra energy to activate each symbol by drawing it out again with the energy. The energy actually may begin to come up so powerfully it may be painful trying to activate each one. Move up higher above the symbols.
CRYSTAL ACTIVATION
Use a Master crystal- (perhaps one with a record keeper or channeling properties) to activate the crystals. To do this, take the crystal in your hand point down, send your energy from your palm Chakra into the crystal and into the one in the middle. When it feels charged, draw from the center one out to the South one, over to the East one and back to center. Then do the next one - Center ot East to North and back.. Then Center to North to West and back. Basically, just draw each quarter of the circle or each large triangle if you are using the Star of David instead of the 4 directions. As you draw them you can state, "I fill this grid with light." Draw around a second time each time stating, "I fill this grid with love." Continue, filling with whatever you like - peace, wisdom, Buddha energies, etc.
MEDITATION
Pray for everything you would like to see manifest in the world! Set INTENT for the empowerment of this day, Think of the world and its condition -offer prayers for all concerned-those of the past, the future, while standing around the crystals and the symbols. This can be out loud -with a leader, people can take turns, or do silently.
Sit down and began to beam energy into the already pulsing crystals.
Meditate: wait for the energies to come, lie down and receive the energy in its pulsing. Accept the flowing energies. This is like getting another attunement direct from the Ascended Masters and Buddha.
After you have completed your meditation, take your Master crystal and place the tip into the beam of energy coming up from the crystal nearest you. Take your now activated Master Crystal and place it to your Third Eye to download the information. You could do this for each one or if there are more than one person involved, they can each use their own crystal to download info from the other crystals in the circle.
CLOSURE
Thank the Ascended Masters, Angels, and Guides for allowing you to to join with them and for sharing the energies of WESAK with you. Give thanks for whatever else you want. Release them to go back to their 'lives'. I usually feel a rush of gratitude back to me at this point.

*** NOTE if you do not know any Reiki symbol I suggest this -

Create energy balls to replace symbols. To create an energy ball - rub your hands together rapidly then pull them apart about 10 inches. Move them closer to each other and pull them apart - Feel the energy between them. Now pull together energy in the air - like creating a snowball, but of energy. As you do so think about what intention or color you are putting into it. After about a minute or even less if you are very focused, you will feel it is complete- or INTEND that it is so.
Create an energy ball for each chakra with the color of each chakra - Red, Orange, Yellow, Green/Pink, Turquoise, Indigo, Purple/White (and any others you want - ie. Silver, Gold, Electric Blue) and place them within the circle.
OR you can create an energy ball with intention for each instead of or in addition to colors - ie - Love, Health, Wisdom, Emotional Healing, Spirit, Peace, etc.
Set the energy balls into the circle and when you go to activate them, just imagine them there in the same order you placed them if you can.
